(HCR 34 - title change resolution) 2008-04-11 House Journal Page 2844 Representative Gara objected. SB 231 The following was again before the House with a motion to adopt the House Finance Committee substitute moved and pending (page 2843): CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 231(HES) "An Act relating to the Alaska housing trust fund and to the Alaska Council on the Homeless; and providing for an effective date." The question being: "Shall HCS CSSB 231(FIN) be adopted in lieu of the original bill?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSSB 231(HES) Second Reading Adopt Finance HCS YEAS: 25 NAYS: 15 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Chenault, Coghill, Dahlstrom, Fairclough, Foster, Gatto, Harris, Hawker, Johansen, Johnson, Joule, Keller, Kelly, LeDoux, Lynn, Meyer, Neuman, Olson, Ramras, Roses, Samuels, Seaton, Stoltze, Thomas, Wilson Nays: Buch, Cissna, Crawford, Doll, Doogan, Edgmon, Gara, Gardner, Gruenberg, Guttenberg, Holmes, Kawasaki, Kerttula, Nelson, Salmon And so, HCS CSSB 231(FIN) was adopted. 2008-04-11 House Journal Page 2845 Representative Samuels moved and asked unanimous consent that HCS CSSB 231(FIN) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. There being no objection, it was so ordered. HCS CSSB 231(FIN) was read the third time. The question being: "Shall HCS CSSB 231(FIN) pass the House?" Representative Samuels moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Thomas later gave notice of reconsideration of the vote on HCS CSSB 231(FIN), and reconsideration was taken up then.
